“This has to be the best venue in Milwaukee. Its got that really hip modern-industrial vibe. Its in Milwaukee’s most interesting neighborhood (Walkers Point). My wedding was in June of 2018. Every single person at this wedding raved about the venue. I would really recommend this venue to couples that have no desire to have a church wedding. Lets face it lots of people want the ceremony and reception under one roof. It can be a hassle to have your guests wasting a few hours between venues. This is the place for that. Its all under one roof. The staff can change over all the tables almost faster than a Nascar pit crew. Saz's catered this event and I would give up a months pay just to go back and eat more of that food. I cannot suggest this place enough.”

We cannot say enough positive things about Saturday. Randy (our florist/ decorator) said you were great to work with, which means a lot since he is also a friend. Our photographer loved shooting in the space as well. Everyone in attendance was so impressed with everything - the space, the food, the staff, etc. Everyone I interacted with personally was fantastic. We would recommend South Second in a heartbeat, and I'm sure our vendors will be spreading the word too.

As soon as my husband and I walked into this place, we knew we wanted this venue for our special day. Michelle was absolutely amazing. She communicated with us and made sure we had our timeline figured out correctly. She made sure the night was perfect from the layout to making sure my husband and I were getting our drinks and food. The service and food was all spectacular as well. We could have not been more happy!

We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding, cocktail hour, and reception at South Second. They far exceeded our expectations. They were amazing throughout the whole process, specifically Michelle. My emails were answered in a couple hours, and she was so patient with all of the (many, many) questions I asked throughout the process. They were able to give me suggestions on things such as timing, extra vendors for valet, and every single person they suggested was amazing. The valet they recommended to us literally ran to the cars when someone needed their car. All of our other vendors loved working with South Second. We had so many guests compliment us on the space, the food and how well the timing and wedding was run and that is all thanks to South Second. I can't say enough how amazing the space and people were to work with!

I know it sounds so cliché to say, but our wedding day really was the best day ever! We had both our ceremony and reception at South Second in September. The transition of the room from ceremony to reception and the entire day itself was executed perfectly- (which is obviously every bride's dream come true!). Michelle is truly wonderful and I couldn't recommend her and the staff at South Second enough. In the months leading up to our big day, Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly organized, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. She helped to ease our concerns and took some of the stress out of wedding planning- which every bride and groom knows is huge! Michelle is a rock star and she is one of the reasons why we are so thankful we chose South Second for our big day! As far as the food goes, Saz's did not disappoint- no surprise there of course. We had breakfast for dinner and the food was awesome. All of our guests gave us so many compliments. It was perfect that we were able to have our hors d'oeuvres coordinate with our breakfast theme, and of course they were delicious! We are so thankful that we decided on South Second for our wedding. The space is absolutely beautiful and unique. Michelle and the rest of the staff at South Second were so professional and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for a better group of people. THE BEST. We booked in February 2016, before South Second was even open so we were a little bit nervous, as no reviews had been posted yet. BEST DECISION we made with all of our wedding planning. Michelle was amazing. I can't tell you how many times I had to change my seating chart and she didn't even flinch. We have some crazy dietary needs in my family and Michelle handled everything so professionally. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding (6 months later now!). South Second was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we reached out to Michelle, we were treated with such professionalism. We wanted a non-traditional wedding that included a cocktail hour before the ceremony and had guests sitting at their dinner tables for our short ceremony to prevent any turn over time. An aisle was created for our immediate family and close friends and by doing this, we were able to use the space for both the ceremony and dinner even though we had close to 200 guests. Our vision was executed perfectly! I am obsessed with details, and Michelle quickly responded to every email I sent, answering each question and followed through with all of our requests. Michelle was out on maternity leave for our event, but made sure to connect us with Katie, who took over the last few weeks and was our contact the night of our wedding. Katie was amazing!
